Marguerite Hussey

WILSON - Marguerite Lane Hussey, 93, of Wilson, died Saturday, May 17, 2014.
Funeral, Tuesday, 11:00 AM, First United Methodist Church, followed by interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Hussey taught school at Winstead and Vinson-Bynum in Wilson for several years while also serving on the boards of the Salvation Army,
Mental Health and the Boys Club. She was a life member of the First United Methodist Church and the Wilson Country Club. There was also time for golf and bridge which she greatly enjoyed in later years.
She was a daughter of the late Rosser and Mattie Poindexter Lane and was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh M. Hussey, Jr, in 1987 and son-in-law, William "Ted" Camp in 2002.
Surviving is her daughter, Martha Lane Camp of Wilson and a son, Hugh M. Hussey, III, of Wilson; grandchildren, Neal H. Andrews (Rushman) of Charlottesville, VA, Marguerite C. Clarkson (William) of Washington, DC, and Eleanor L. Hussey of Charlotte; great-grandchildren whom she adored very much, Cabell Andrews and William Clarkson, VI.
Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1423, Wilson, NC 27894-1423.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Monday, 6:00 - 7:30 PM, and other times at the Hussey home.
