BETHEL - Marie "Toodie" Batchelor McKeel, 81, died Tuesday, September 9, 2014.
Funeral, Saturday, 11:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, conducted by Rev. Allen Stanley. Interment, Stantonsburg Cemetery. The visitation will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Friday, 6 - 7:30 PM.
Marie was preceded in death by a son, Tommy McKeel and parents, Joe and Minnie Batchelor; brothers, Joe, Pete and Eugene Batchelor.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Eugene A. McKeel; sons, Ronnie McKeel of Greenville, Joe McKeel of FL and Eugene "Gene" McKeel Jr. of Bethel; grandchildren, Kimberly Schlienz of Greenville, Matthew McKeel of PA, Lynn Marie of Atlanta, Zachary Gibson of VA, Travis McKeel of VA, Sarah Gibson of VA and Thomas McKeel of Washington; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Speight, Lorraine Maddox and Raymeta Stancil all of Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Assn, 1108 Windemere Dr NW, Wilson, NC 27896-2160.
