Marie Peedin

Peggy Marie Godwin Peedin, 90, of Wilson, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 7, 2:00 PM, at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mrs. Peedin was a retired hairdresser and was also a retired Administrative Officer with the USDA, Tobacco Programs in Raleigh.

She is survived by her husband Donald Peedin; daughter, Robin Godwin Moats of Wilson; stepson, Billy Peedin of Princeton; grandsons, Tanner and Colton Moats; sisters, Louise Woodard of Wilson and Joyce Pope of Kenly. 

Mrs. Peedin was preceded in death by her first husband Cleotha Godwin; parents, Junior and Mae Bailey Sullivan; sisters, Bettie Griffin and Jean Crocker; and brother V. J. “Buddy” Sullivan, Jr..
