WILSON - Marion W. "Monk" Moore, 83, died Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
Funeral, Friday, 10 AM, Maplewood Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ruffin Moore and parents, Marion and Juanita Woodard Moore. He was retired from the NC Department of Transportation and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Monk is survived by his daughter, Susan W. Moore of Wilson; son, Grey Moore of Wilson; grandchildren, Casey Moore of Wilson and Tanner Moore of Atlanta, GA and sister, Becky Rhodes (Eddie) of Wilmington.
