Marvin Lynch

Daniel Marvin Lynch, 90, of Wilson, died Wednesday, September 10, 2025. 

A graveside service with Military Rites will be Thursday, 2:30 PM, at Evergreen Memorial Park.

He was born on September 6, 1935 in Rocky Mount to the late William and Ruby Lynch.

Mr. Lynch was a member for over 50 years at Forest Hills Baptist Church and, since moving to Knightdale, attended Knightdale United Methodist Church with his daughter and family. He served his country as a medic in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his daughter Angela Lynch Maynard (Tom) of Knightdale; grandchildren, Benjamin Maynard (Emily) and Alexander Maynard; sister, Ellen Robbins of Sharpsburg, and his sister-in-law Shelby Lynch of Pikeville.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lynch was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years Katie (Kay) Carpenter Lynch; son, Walter Alan Lynch; brothers, Bill, Johnny, Mitchell, and Lee Lynch.
