Mary Ann Overman

Mary Ann Cummings Overman, 87, died Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

The funeral will be Saturday, 2:00 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Mrs. Overman was a woman of integrity and faithfulness, who was dedicated to her family, loved God and her church.

She is survived by her daughter Kay Boykin (David) of Elm City; sons, Robert Liverman (Judy) of Elm City, David Liverman (Olivia) of Pikeville, and J.R. Liverman (Cheryl) of North Wilkesboro; step-son, Jimmy Overman of Lucama; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Overman was preceded in death by her husband James Overman; parents, Melvin and Mamie Macy Cummings; son, C.J. Liverman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Sharpsburg Church of God, 405 John J Sharpe St, Sharpsburg NC 27878.
