WILSON - Mary Lou Shingleton Vick, 92, died Sunday, September 2, 2012.
Funeral, Tuesday, 7 PM, Bible Baptist Church, 2833 Tilghman Rd, followed by a time of visiting. Burial, Wednesday, 10 AM, Evergreen Memorial Park.
She was a native of Greene County and the widow of Alton "Gaitlin" Vick who died in 1996. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Atha Williams.
Surviving are her daughters, Cynthia Keen (Butch) with whom she lived, Sylvia Williams of Wilson and Deborah Melancon (Mike) of Sykesville, MD; sons, Kenneth Vick (Ruby) of Wilson, Dennis Vick (Sharon) of Fremont and Horace Vick (Katrina) of LaGrange; 11 grandchildren, 16, great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Carson Shingleton of Stantonsburg.
Memorials are suggested to Bible Baptist Church, 2833 Tilghman Rd, N, Wilson, NC 27896.
