Mary Whitley

WILSON - Mary Boswell Whitley, 81, died Friday, February 17, 2012.
Funeral, Monday, 11 AM, Evansdale United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
Mrs. Whitley was very active in her church having served as President of the United Methodist Women twice, Sunday School teacher for ten years, nursery attendant for 12 years, food coordinator for funerals for 20 years and worship chairperson for 23 years.
Surviving is her husband, Alton L. Whitley; daughters, Mary Jo Walter (Lane) of Lumberton and Cindy Bass (Brooks) of Wilson; sons, Ricky Whitley of Wilson and Will Whitley (Margo) of Charlotte; grandchildren, Jason, Matt, Kristin, Alison, Richard, Jamie, Madison and Meredith; great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Sam, Dayton and Trinity; brothers, Tom Boswell and Bob Boswell, both of Wilson.
Memorials are suggested to the Evansdale United Methodist Church, 4334 Evansdale Rd, Wilson, NC 27893.
