Meriem Webb Whitley, 89, of Wilson, died Thursday, July 7, 2016.
Funeral, Sunday, 12 Noon, Maplewood Cemetery, Section F.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thurman Whitley, Sr. who died in 1997; and parents, Brisco and Annie Rebecca Webb; son, Earl "Butch" Thurman Whitley, Jr.
Mrs. Whitley is survived by her daughter, Peggy Slay (John) of Fremont; daughter-in-law, Brenda Whitley of Elizabeth City; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Henry Thomas Webb of Richmond, VA; special in-laws, Helen Batts, Doris Whitley and Lester Ray Whitley.
