Mildred Pope Bass, 91, died Thursday, August 10, 2017.
The funeral will be Saturday, 11:00 AM at First Free Will Baptist Church, Wilson, followed by visitation. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery, Fremont.
Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Walter V. Bass, Sr. in January, 2000.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Radford (Rev. Doug) of Wilson, Regina House (Jesse) of Apex and Linda Hagwood (Dwight) of Santee, SC; son, Walter V. Bass, Jr. (Cecelia) of Garner; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Shelby Lynch (Mitchell) and Gray Lamm of Goldsboro and Geraldine Lamm (Ollie) of Rocky Mount; brother, Charles Pope (Shirley) of Belfast.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harvesters International, c/o Doug Radford, 4335 Nantucket Dr, Wilson, NC 27896.
