LUCAMA - Mildred Hayes Crumpler 77, died Sunday, July 23, 2006. She was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Victoria Lucas Hayes and preceded in death by a son, Roy Crumpler, and a brother, R.T. Hayes. Funeral, Wednesday, 1:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, conducted by Rev. Rani Woodrow of the Black Creek United Methodist Church. Interment, Black Creek Cemetery. Surviving is her husband, Horace "Tommy" Crumpler, daughters, Connie Parrish of Lucama, Lib Ferrell of Wilson and Janet Flowers of Selma: sons, Ronnie Flowers, John Crumpler, Charles Crumpler, all of Lucama, and Tommy Crumpler of Red Oak: sisters, Waldine Hooks of Lucama, Cleo Gorman of Black Creek, Shelby Watson of Stantonsburg and Bobbie Ann Carter of Oklahoma: brother, Bill Hayes of Black Creek: 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
