Muriel Lamm Barnes Jones, 80, of Lamms Crossroads, Lucama, died Saturday, May 8, 2010. Funeral, Tuesday, 3:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting. Burial, Micro Cemetery. After retirement from the medical records section at Wilson Medical Center, she worked as a hairdresser at the Brian Center. Surviving is her husband, C. B. Jones; sons, Warren Barnes of Middlesex and Ronnie Barnes of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Heather, Jade and April Barnes; three great-grandchildren; "a daughter she never had", Toni Boykin of Wilson; step-daughters, Teresa Bardin and Sandra Jones of Wilson; step-sons, David Jones (Lori) of Wilson and Wayne Jones (Patsy) of Bailey; four step-grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Whitley (Howard) of Wilson; brothers, Buck Lamm, Norman Lamm and Tommy Lamm, all of Lucama; caregiver: Cliftine Gibbs; her constant canine companion, Ginger.
