Myrtle Downing
February 3, 1924 — November 15, 2019
Myrtle Raper Downing, 95, of Wilson, died Friday, November 15, 2019.
Funeral, Monday, 1:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Downing was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Downing and was retired from BB&T.
She is survived by her daughter, Bette Burdette Barnes (Roy) of Lucama; grandsons, Eric Barnes (Diana) of Lucama and Kenneth Barnes of Wilson; great-grandchildren, Kenan, Megan, Dagan and Danica Barnes; two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1423, Wilson, NC 27894 or Alzheimers NC, 9131 Anson Way, Ste 206, Raleigh, NC 27615.
