Nancy Pappas

Nancy Wallace Pappas, 79, of Wilson, died Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, October 3, 12:00 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The visitation will be before the service from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM.

Nancy was retired from Barton College.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Jimmy Pappas; sons, Chris Pappas of Wilson, Michael Pappas (Amberlynn) of Wilmington, and Todd Pappas (Anna) of Winterville; grandchildren, Sydni Pappas, Isaak Pappas, and Eliot Pappas; brother, Doug Wallace (Etta) of Richmond, VA; grand puppies, Elle and Max.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hal Douglas Wallace and Frances Langley Wallace.
