LUCAMA - Norman R. Lamm. 88, of the Lamms Grove community, died Sunday, May 22, 2011.
Funeral, Wednesday, 3 PM, Springhill Presbyterian Church. Interment, church cemetery.
Norman was a farmer, veteran of World War II, and was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Valear Ferrell Lamm; grandchildren, Michelle & Ricky Lamm; sisters, Muriel Jones and Nona Gardner; brother, Cecil Lamm.
Surviving is his wife, Betsy Hinnant Lamm; daughters, Kaye Ballance (Mark) of Kenly and Pam Simpson (Barnie) of Summerfield; sons, Mike Lamm (Margie) of Lucama and Allen "Shorty" Lamm (Diane) of Kenly; grandchildren, Emily Ballance and Morgan Ballance; Melissa Connaughton (Kevin), Rose Ellen Bronson (Billy), Stephanie Bedredine (Samir); ten great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine "Gerry" Whitley (Howard) of Wilson; brothers, Tommy Lamm (Mary) and Buck Lamm (Janet), both of Lucama.
The family will be Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, N, Wilson, Tuesday, 7 - 8:30 PM.
