WILSON - Odis Joyner, 90, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013.
Funeral, Thursday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lou Winstead Joyner; daughters, Lou Anne Taber (Don) and Phoebe Hayes (Tommy) of Wilson; son, Mel Joyner (Susie) of Elm City; grandchildren, Liza Woods, Bailee Hayes, Melissa Newton (Brad), Becky Mullis (Ben) and Ches Joyner and great-grandson, Benjamin Mullis.
Flowers are welcome or memorials are suggested to the American Heart Assn, 1108 Windemere Dr NW, Wilson, NC 27896 or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, 386 Park Ave S, 17TH Floor, New York, NY 10016.
The family will be at the home of Phoebe and Tommy Hayes, 1214 Brookside Drive.
