WILSON - Opal Baines Dail, 98, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014.
Funeral, Friday, 11:00 AM, Snow Hill Cemetery, Snow Hill. The visitation will be at Evansdale United Methodist Church, 4334 Evansdale Rd, Wilson, Thursday, 6 - 8 PM.
Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Bruce Dail, and grandson, Dennis Cooper. She was retired from the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf and was a longtime member of Evandale UMC.
She is survived by her daughters, Judith Carroll (John) of Fuquay Varina and Virginia Cooper (Maurice) of Nashville; grandchildren, Elaine Ferrell (Roger) of Rocky Mount, Jonathan Carroll (Becky) of Fuquay Varina and Deedie Carroll of Apex; great-grandchild, Taylor Ferrell and brother, Garland Baines (Lola) of Reigelwood.
