Patsy Carter Joyner, 86, of Wilson, died Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Funeral, Friday at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her sons, Shane Joyner (Mary) of Wilson and Randy Joyner of Washington NC; grandchildren, Brittany Poythress of Sims, Mia Joyner of Wilson, and Luke Joyner of Wilson; great-grandchildren, Bennet Poythress and Knox Poythress; brother, Mike Carter of Wilson.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Joyner; parents, Frank and Elsie Baldree Carter; brothers, Frank Carter, Jr. and Bobby Carter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Veterans Residential Services of Wilson, 2500 Nash St N #E, Wilson NC 27896.
