Kermit M. “Pete” Wells, 92, of Wilson, died Sunday, May 30, 2021.
Funeral, Wednesday, June 2, 2:00 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service followed by visitation. Entombment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
He was the owner of the former M&W Grocery for 36½ years and served in the Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Joyce Meadows Wells; son, Glenn Wells of Wilson; grandson, Matthew Wells of Wilson and brother, Ray Wells of Sims.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mae Sutton Wells; sister, Louise Glover Nichols and brother, Garland Wells.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winstead United Methodist Church, 1407 Tarboro St SW, Wilson, NC 27893.
