Ray Deans Flowers, 81, of Wilson, formerly of Stantonsburg, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, in his home.
Funeral, Monday, 7:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment, Tuesday, 11:00 AM, Maplewood Cemetery.
Ray was a member of Stantonsburg Baptist Church. He had been a mentor for students in accounting and served in executive leadership for Industrial Electric and BEFCO in Rocky Mount.
Surviving is his wife, Sue Murphy Flowers; daughter, Lori Bowling of Mebane; son, Bryan Flowers (Faith) of Apex; grandchildren; Lindsey F. Smith (Christian) of Greensboro, Parker Flowers of Apex and Mason Bowling of Mebane; sister, Brenda Strickland and Billy Flowers, Jr (Lucille), all of Wilson.
