LUCAMA - Raymond Craven Best, 75, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013.
He retired from the Wilson County ABC System after 33 years.
Funeral, Saturday, 2:30 PM, Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.
Surviving is his wife, Judy Kennedy Best; daughter, Dawn Campbell (Sherwood) of Raleigh; grandson, Brandon "Scooter" Knight (fiancée, Autumn "Cookie" McCord) of Raleigh; sisters, Glenda Pittman (Marion) of Tarboro and Hulda Bissette of Charlotte.
He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Opie Best; daughter, LouAnn Best; parents John H. and Thelma Hayes Best; sister, Janice B. Jomp; brother, Ronald B. Best, Sr.
