Raymond Saunders

Raymond Frank Saunders, 84, of Saratoga, died Friday, April 7, 2023, in his home.

Funeral, Tuesday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.  Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Elaine Saunders of the home; sister, Dorothy Proctor of Morehead City; fur babies, Henry, Lucky, Harry and Hazel and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Saunders was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Letchworth Saunders; parents, Bennie A. Saunders and Mary Ethel Owens Saunders and sister, Janice S. Dail.

He served honorably in the United States Air Force for four years and was a former member of the Sanoca Fire Department.
