Rev. Robert Boyette

Rev. Robert Thorne Boyette, 93, of Sims, died early Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Funeral, Maplewood Cemetery, Friday, February 20 at 11:00 AM.

Rev. Boyette was a minister, and also worked part-time at the Sims Post Office.

He is survived by his daughters, Joanna Coker (Louis) of Lucama and Deborah Martin (Larry) of Tarboro; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Rev. Boyette was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Davis Boyette in 2011, and parents, William Theodore and Eva Thorne Boyette of Wilson County.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heritage Church, 615 Mack Todd Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597.
