BLACK CREEK - Robert E. Bridgers, 68, died Monday, December 24, 2018.
Funeral, Thursday, 11:00 AM, Black Creek Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Bill Groce. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Wednesday, 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
Surviving is his wife, Betty Braswell Bridgers; step-daughter, Crystal L Thorne (Kenny) of Black Creek; step-son: James Lucas (Jeaneen) of Wilson; step-grandchildren, Daniel Powell (Melissa), Dalton and Dylan Powell, Crystal Robinson (Gordon), James Lucas (Tiffany), Heather King (Chase); four step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Bettie Leonard of Rocky Mount, Josephine Bridgers of Elm City, Gail Thompson of Virginia Beach, VA and Mary Ann Horton (John) of Elm City; brother, George Bridgers (Cathy) of Sharpsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard Eugene and Mary Lee Whitley Bridgers and a sister, Rachel B. Vick.
The family will be at the home of Kenny and Crystal Thorne.
