WILSON - Robert Leo Nanney, 79, died Thursday, May 1, 2014.
Funeral, Sunday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Batchelor Nanney in 2012; parents, Otis and Mildred Fulford Nanney; sister, Lois Sain and brother, Ray Nanney.
Robert was retired from White's Tire with 52 years of service.
Surviving is his daughter, Kim Goolsby (Chris) of Ann Arbor, MI; son, R.L. "Robbie" Nanney, II (Carolyn) of Macclesfield; grandchildren, Pam Bunn (Mark) of Kenly, R.L. "Trey" Nanney, III (Donna) of Wilson, Kristin Cox of Ann Arbor, MI, and Matt Goolsby of Ann Arbor, MI; great-grandchildren, Leila, Bailey, Chloe and Charlie Bunn; sisters, Lib Worthington of Greenville and Dot Winstead of Apex; brother, Carl Nanney of Greenville, SC.
