WILSON - Roy Walls, 71, died Saturday, December 8, 2012.
Funeral, Wednesday, 2 PM, Evergreen Memorial Park.
Roy served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was retired from Coca-Cola. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennett G. and Coralia Hawley Walls and a sister, Margie Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Bass Walls; daughter, Rhonda Griffin (John) of Wilson; son, David Walls of Wilson; grandsons, Brandon Griffin of Wilson and Kevin Turnage (Lisa) of Huntersville; sisters, Irene Johnston of CA and Ethel Collier of Wilson; brothers, Edward Walls (Jean) of Washington, Billy Walls (Doris) of Bailey and Luther Walls (Carol) of Wilson; several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the DAV-Disabled Veterans Assn, Chapter 8, 1404 Woodside Dr W, Wilson NC 27893.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Tuesday, 6-8 PM.
