Ruth Bass Whitley, 85, of Wilson, died Thursday, March 11, 2021.
Funeral, Sunday, 2:00 PM at Tabernacle Baptist Church, followed by visitation. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Whitley (Cindy) of Middlesex and Steve Rose; grandchildren, Summer Rose and Todd Rose (Jordan); sister, Nancy Turnage of Wilson; brother, Edward Bass (Judy) of Leland.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin Daniel Whitley in 2018; her parents, Wiley and Dora Rose Bass; sisters, Mary Ann Bedford, Daisy Dodds and Leona Lamm.
Memorials are suggested to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Blvd., Wilson, NC 27893.
