WILSON - Sadie Freeman Greene, 78, formerly of Elm City, died Monday, December 5, 2016.
Funeral, Thursday, 1:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment, Cedar Grove Cemetery, Elm City beside her husband, Rev. George L. Greene, who died in 1989.
Surviving are her daughters, Dee Bass (Donnie) of Elm City, Sandra Summerlin (Larry) of Elm City, Linda Hill of Wilson with whom she lived, Joyce Woodard (Earl) of Clayton, Elsie Stokes (Jimmy) of Wallace; sons, Wayne Greene (Ann) of Elm City, Rick Greene (Sherri) of Browns Summit, Tim Greene (Lori) of Reidsville, Darrell Greene of New Mexico; 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
