Sylvia Wheeler Whiteside Wilson, 89, of Wilson, died Monday, May 11, 2020.

A funeral will be held for and at the convenience of the family.

She is survived by daughters, Sarah Larson of the home, Nancy Best (Hilton) of Elm City, Janey Stephens (Charles) of Elm City; son, David Whiteside (Tanya) of Bailey; grandchildren, John Best (Sarah Green), Zac Stephens (Jonathan Williams), Chelsea Fulghum (Brandon), Kaylee Whiteside; brother, Bill Wheeler (Pat) of High Point.

She was predeceased by her husband, James R. Whiteside; her second husband, James Wilson; a son, James “Little Jim” Whiteside; her parents, Adele and Claude Wheeler; brother, Claude Wheeler; sister-in-law, Velva Wheeler; sister-in-law, Vaudie Foxx and brother-in-law Leroy “Buddy” Foxx, and family in CA.
