WILSON - Thelma Minshew Sasser Cherry, 99, died Friday, October 15, 2021.
Funeral, Tuesday, 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Park.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Corbett of Wilson and Yvonne Vail (Steve) of Pikeville; grandchildren, Kim Ferrell (Johnny) of Beaufort, Chris Peters (Jennifer) of New Bedford MA, Mark Peters (Angie) of Shelby and Al Atkinson of Macclesfield; 4 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Tammy Sasser of Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roland Sasser and James A. Cherry; son, Jimmy Sasser; sister, Gladys Gray; brothers, Earl, Joe and Willie Minshew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Bethany Presbyterian Church, c/o Jackie Lamm, 1202 Brookhaven Dr, NW, Wilson, NC 27896.
