WILSON - Thelma Abrams Garris, 92, received her heavenly reward Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
Funeral, Saturday, 6:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service. The visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Graveside Service, Sunday, 3:00 PM, Rocky Mount Memorial Park, Rocky Mount.
Mrs. Garris was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Daniel Garris, parents, Cooper and Lela Morris Abrams; daughter, Lela “Sissy” Baker; sons, Danny and Robert “Bobby” Garris; sisters, Mavoneen Owens and Elma Wass and brothers, Cooper Pitt, Roy, Walter, Carl, David, George and William Abrams.
She is survived by her daughter, Louise Garris Warrick (Robert) of the home; son, Henry Abrams (Darla); 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Carter, Elizabeth Cockrell and Hazel Worrell; brother, James Creekmore (Jean).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 104 Handley Park Ct, Goldsboro, NC 27834.
