ELM CITY - Thomas W. Cobb, 85, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005.
Funeral, 11:00 AM, Saturday, Elm City United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Stan Gallagher-Smith. Interment, Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, Friday, 7-8:30.
He was the former owner of Cobb Furniture, a Word War II Veteran, member of the Cox-Putney American Legion and former Elm City board member of BB&:T.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Butt Cobb, in October, 2004.
Surviving: son, Thomas B. Cobb and wife, Vickie, of Elm City: grandsons, Scott Thomas Cobb and Kevin Wells Cobb, both of Raleigh:nephews, Jack Hooks and Rev. Joseph Sandifer, and niece, Kathryn Sandifer.
