Tom Joyner, 83, died Monday, March 31, 2008. Funeral, Thursday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive. Interment, Mill Branch Cemetery, Halifax Road, Rocky Mount. Surviving is his wife, Reba Sumerlin Joyner: daughter, Debra Sullivan of Nashville: son, Elton T. Joyner of Sims: five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren: sisters, Gloria Jean Cone of Middlesex and Lurenda Risko of Garner: brothers, Charlie Joyner of Sims and Randolph Joyner of Raleigh. The family will be at Wilson Memorial, Wednesday, 7 - 8:30 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Community Chapel Church, 11556 Taylor Store Rd, Nashville, NC 27856.
