Virginia Chase

EUREKA - Virginia Dawson Chase, 88, died Thursday, March 7, 2019.

Funeral, Sunday, March 10th at 3:00 PM, Eureka United Methodist Church.  Interment will be in the Eureka Cemetery.  The visitation will be at the church Saturday, March 9th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Chase was preceded in death by her husband, Rom E. Chase; parents, William Phillip Dawson and Maude Yelverton Dawson and sisters, Helen White and Grace Braxton and brother, Ray Dawson.

She is survived by her daughters, Ronda Elmore (David) of the home, Ginny Davis (Rod) of Cary and Bett Chase of Faro; grandchildren, Gina C. Sutton (Steve) and Dave Elmore great-grandchild, Emma-Chase Sutton - who brightened her day.

The family would like to thank Community Home Care and Hospice, Christian Caregivers, and the Eureka community for their continued love and support. A special thank you to the five special ladies from Christian Caregivers and her niece, Cathy Barden, for providing amazing care for her during her last few weeks.
