STANTONSBURG - William Bryce Shingleton, 53, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro. He had been a farmer in Greene County and was the son of Billie Jean Hunt and the late Garland Bryce Shingleton. Funeral, Saturday, April 8, 2006, 11:00 AM, First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. A. Max Patterson and Richard Coble. Interment, Stantonsburg Cemetery. Surviving is his wife, Susan Moss Shingleton; daughter, Rebekah Shingleton of the home; son, Will Shingleton of the home; mother, Billie Hunt Shingleton Boykin, and his step-father, David Boykin, of Atlanta, GA, and Stantonsburg; sister, Lynn S. Grantham of Stantonsburg. Memorials are suggested to the Scholarship Fund, First Baptist Church, PO Box 57, Stantonsburg, NC 27883.
