Walter Lawrence “Larry” Hilliard, 87, of Wilson, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

Funeral, Sunday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife Freddie Harrell Hilliard in 2019; parents, Walter and Thelma Gupton Hilliard; grandson, Walter Jackson Hilliard and he was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Ferrell of Wilson; sons, Rodney Hilliard of Wilson and Eddie Hilliard (Kathryn) of Greenville; grandchildren, Madeline, Lydia, Maxton, and Samuel Hilliard, Jazmine and April Starr Ferrell; great-grandchildren, Layla, Bentley, and Zaydie Ferrell.
