Wiley Lamm

Wiley Lee Lamm, 90, of Elm City, died late Monday, February 16, 2026, in his home

His family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Thursday, 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Wiley was a farmer who loved to fish and hunt, especially deer hunting. He retired from S.T. Wooten Company and returned to the workforce as a mechanic for a short time at PLT Construction Company.

Surviving is his wife of 70 years. Agnes Vick Lamm; Cathy Gonzalez (Julio) of Kenly, Debbie Pridgen (James), Brenda Wooten (Bobby) and Linda Schans all of Elm City; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Lillie Speight (Rev Jim) of Wilson; brother, Bill Lamm of Middlesex.

Preceding him in death was his daughter, Pat Varnell in 2018; granddaughter, Candice Wooten; and his parents, Elijah and Leona Bass Lamm of Wilson County; sisters, Joyce Daniels and Mary Walker; brother, Jesse Lamm.
