William Horton

William "Bill" P. Horton, 88, died Saturday, April 25, 2015.
Funeral, St Timothy's Episcopal Church, Tuesday, 1:00 PM. A time of visiting and sharing will follow the service.
Bill served in the Navy during World War II, graduated from UNC School of Pharmacy in 1950 and enjoyed a career in pharmacy retiring from CVS. His wife, Elizabeth Cheek Horton, preceded him in death in 2009.
Surviving is his daughter, Beth Thomas (Jim) of Wilson; sons, William P. Horton, Jr. (Peggy) of Wilson, Jonathan W. Horton (Mary Ann) of Wilson, Thomas Edgar Horton of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, William Farrington Dunn (Lindsay) and Sonya Lynn Horton; great-grandchildren, Payton Elizabeth Dunn, Ava Kaylin Dunn, Bella Grace Smith; step-grandchildren, Michael Thomas (Beth), Brandon Thomas and Sarah Ballance; step-great-grandchildren, Kayla Marie Thomas, McKenzie Lynn Thomas and Jacob Ballance; beloved dog, Julie.
