W. Leatrice Kirby

Walter Leatrice Kirby, 90, of Lucama, died Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

Funeral, Saturday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.  Interment, Kenly Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew, in 2009, and his parents, Walter and Lennie Simpson Kirby.

Surviving is his wife of 70 years, Edith Deans Kirby; sons, Steve Kirby (Ann) of Kenly and Craig Kirby (Carol) of Clayton; grandchildren, Stephanie Kirby (fiancé, Steven Salina) of Raleigh and Ryan Kirby (Helen) of Lucama; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Tessa, Josiah and Amelia. Pama Kirby is mother to Ryan and Andrew “Drew” and grandmother to the four grandchildren named.
