WILSON - Yvonne Shaffer Carmichael, 74, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Funeral, Friday, 2 PM, Forest Hills Baptist Church. Entombment, Evergreen Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Eugene A. Carmichael; daughters, Paula Davis (Chris) of Elm City and Lynne Nevins (Gary) of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Perry Carmichael of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Brittany Davis, Daphne Towell, Jordan, Lauren and Erin Carmichael; great-grandchildren, Mia and Ian Carlyle; sister, Elaine Jones of Prince Frederick, MD and brothers, Claude Shaffer of Lorton, VA and Francis Shaffer of FL. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Thursday, 7-8:30 PM. Memorials are suggested to Forest Hills Baptist Church, Building or Education Fund, 1407 Forest Hills Rd NW, Wilson NC 27896
