Al Reason

Alton Grant “Al” Reason, 75, of Elm City, died Monday, March 8, 2021, at home.

Funeral, Thursday, 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Al is survived by his wife, Jennette Gardner Reason; sons, Alex Reason (Amanda) of Elm City and Todd Mercer (Christy) of Burlington; grandchildren, Chelsea Steadman (Blake), Shyann Reason, Meredith Mercer, Morgan Mercer and Addison Mercer; sisters, Trudy Lamm of Macclesfield, Alma Finch of Bailey and Edna Thigpen of Tarboro; brothers, Luther Reason, Jr. of Macclesfield and Douglas Reason of Swansboro; fur baby, Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Delzell Cook Reason; sisters, Harriett and Janie; brothers, Alonzo, Rufus and James.
