Betsy Flowers

Wilson – Betsy Norville Flowers, 73, died Thursday, September 13, 2018.

Funeral, Thursday, 6:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation.  Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery at 10:00 am Friday.

Betsy grew up in Wilson County and graduated from Fike High School in 1962.  She owned and operated Forest Hills Hairstyling for 32 years.  Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Ethel Holloman Norville; sister, Linda Maise and brothers, Dwight and Melvin Norville.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerrold L. Flowers; daughter, Natalie Jo Flowers of Appleton, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Omar Perdomo, Natalia Perdomo, Joseph Elliott, Brianna Elliott and Aidan Griffith; sister, Mary Frances Mercer (Tommy) of Knightdale; brothers, Bobby Norville (Carolyn) of Wilson and Phil Norville (Brenda) of Sims; sisters-in-law, Nita Norville of Snow Hill and Bonnie Browning of Chesterfield, VA; brother-in-law Sam Maise of Knightdale; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet and Ira Muse, Jr. of Wilson and many nieces and nephews.
