Dixie Gardner

Dixie Lamm Bailey Gardner, 100, of Wilson, died Saturday, January 16, 2021.

Funeral, Maplewood Cemetery, Section J, Tuesday, 2:00 PM.  Friends may visit Wilson Memorial Service, Tuesday, 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon.

Mrs. Gardner was a retired bookkeeper for Batten Auto Parts for more than 50 years. She enjoyed Forest Hills Baptist Church and the choir in years past.

She is survived by her daughter, Becky Nichols (Donnie) of Bailey; son, Randy Bailey (Sandi) of Wilson; grandchildren, Heidi Pope (Wes), Tara McNeal (Kenneth), Hart Bailey (Sharon) and Don Nichols (Lela); great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jacob Nichols; Eli and Erin Pope; Micah, Isaiah, and Madeline McNeal; Alexis and Djimon Bailey; step-daughters, Linda Jobe and Patricia Gardner and Linda’s son, Dr Lee Jobe (Donna).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Nobles Chapel Baptist Church, 7330 Old Raleigh Road, Sims, NC 27880.
