Walter Sinclair

Walter Parrish Sinclair, 87, of Wilson, died Saturday, June 8, 2019.

Funeral, Wednesday, 11:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service. Burial,  Maplewood Cemetery.  The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Tuesday, 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

Mr. Sinclair attended Campbell University, served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and had a long career with Williamson Truck Lines as a driver and dispatcher.

Surviving are his daughters, Diane Harmon (Brian) of Wilson and Beverly Milam (Don) of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Carrie Speight, Cristen Konewko (Jonathan), Tyler Whitley (Lee-Ann) and Amber Whitley (Chris Mincey); great-grandchildren, Blaine, Bennett, Allyson, Meredyth and Hunter; nieces and nephews, Martha B. Daughtry, Olivia S. Reams and Lucy P. Copeland; Robert, Randy, Freddie and Kenny Sinclair; a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred G. and Lucy Andrews Sinclair; sisters, Lois S. Smith and Elease S. Page; brothers, Robert “Buddy” Sinclair and Fred G. Sinclair, Jr.
