Fay Evans

Fay Jacobs Evans, 97, of Black Creek, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

Funeral, Friday, 11:00 AM, Black Creek United Methodist Church with visiting an hour prior to the service. Please observe social distancing and wear a mask for protection.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her sons, Fred “Butch” Evans (Brenda) of Garner and James Evans (Lila) of Washington, NC; daughter-in-law, Diane B. Evans of Wilson; grandchildren, Hank Evans (Amy), Lee Evans (Karen), Jimmy Evans (Ada) and Tonya Evans; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Evans in 1976; parents, James F. and Lillie Brothers Jacobs of TX; son, Henry Evans in 2015; sister, Frances Stryker of Hermitage, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Black Creek United Methodist Church, PO Box 278, Black Creek, NC 27813.
